Hamilton 9 Thunder Bay 6

On Monday, January 4, Hamilton and Thunder Bay played perhaps their best game of the season.

Hamilton struck first with a quick goal, plus added on 4 more to get the early lead. Thunder Bay's offence was hard to stop, but their defence and goaltending also put on a stellar preformance. Thunder Bay added a goal just before half time to cut the lead to just four.

The second half was a fast pace and intense period. Hamilton did not give up, scoring 3 very productive goals, but Thunder bay kept it extremely close. After Thunder Bay scored 5 goals in the second half by solid offence and some help from the defence, the game was still very close. Hamilton still managed to get one last goal in the final 10 seconds of the game to win by 3 goals. The final score was 9-6 Hamilton.

Both teams played great to keep the game close. Hamilton plays next on Tuesday, while Thunder Bay plays again on Monday.
